End of Summer BBQ

We are having and end of summer BBQ this Saturday September 19th, 2015 from 12p-3p.  We will be serving hot dogs, salads, chips, and cold beverages.  We will be having the local Ford Studebaker club showing off there Beauty’s, but the main attraction will be the dunk tank.  We have distributed ballots to all of the residents for them to cast their votes as to who is going down in the dunk tank.  Scott Thompson, Shift Lead is in the lead followed by Brandon our Maintenance Director.  Our Executive Director, April Kohlmaier, better grab her water wings because she is going swimming.  The residents are really excited to buy the balls with their “Hillcrest Bucks.” The visitors and staff will be able to participate in the dunking action by purchasing the balls at $1.00/per ball.  We invite everyone to come on over and have a BALL!

Gone Fishin’

Remember when your Grandpa or Uncle use to tell you about the “Big one that got away?” We had a great time getting out and hitting the fishing hole. Even though there was only a couple little fish caught, fun was had by all. We took the residents down to Park Center Pond and set them up on the dock. Bill and Marcus helped get the squiggly worms on the hook and cast the line out in hopes to catch the next ” Catfish Hunter” (Grumpy Old Men movie).
We are planning another fishing trip Wednesday, September 16th at 9:00am at
